Episode 4 - Decision Time!

DISCLAIMER: The canon characters of RWBY are owned by Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth, as well as the characters of Gintama are owned by Hideaki Sorachi. Also, the only Tales of characters that will be involved is Velvet Crowe and Zaveid, I do not own these characters but Yoshiharu Gotanda does since he's the creator of Tales of.

Author's Note: What's up dudes and dudettes?! I hope you're loving these episodes like I am! Releasing two episodes in one day is a huge accomplishment for me, y'know. And here's another one for you! Please enjoy!

Intro

The episode begins with multiple flashbacks with the Fall of Beacon from twenty years ago. 

A narrating voice sounds off in the background about it's past.

"Twenty years ago..."

The flashback sees The White Fang and Adam Taurus, along with Roman Torchwick and Cinder Fall destroying Beacon Academy as Beacon had multiple students as well as from different schools trying to defend Beacon as well. Grimm was heavily involved as well.

"Remnant, mostly in Vale saw a new era...A era that was truly experienced with..."

The narrating voice paused as a red background appears where Adam Taurus severely injures Yang Xiao Long by slashing his sword at the arm of Yang, a front of Blake Belladonna.

"Bloodshed..."

A black background would fade in as a background and it shows a flashback with Pyrrha Nikos sending Jaune Arc into the weapon pod away from Beacon.

"Sad goodbyes..."

Then, the darkness would fade in once more. Timeline wise, would go back to see at the Beacon Tower in the end of the Cinder vs. Pyrrha fight where Cinder shoots one of her arrows at the heart of Pyrrha and Ruby Rose sees this. 

"The worst of all...Death and heartbreak..."

Ruby was in shock as Cinder places a hand on Pyrrha's forehead as Pyrrha fades away. Then, Ruby cries out and screams out as the Silver Eyes activated and the whole background changes into all white afterwards.

"But, after all of that. A certain team was broken, later brought back together to stop one huge villain ahead of them that's caused The Fall of Beacon to happen."

The background would be painted in with color and it's in Salem's castle. Salem is shown.

"This woman, this dangerous woman...The darkness flows within her, because of her selfish needs. This woman's name is Salem and she will not stop at nothing until...The world is burnt down to the ground at her feet...."

What's next is shown with pages like a history book would be flipped and sees a war breaking out. The pages flip once more as the paint is being placed in the page with Team RWBY standing side by side with Ryuuto Yoshida, Gintoki Sakata, and 8 more people on their side along with tons and tons of allies by their side.

"A war would be engaged. One side was the legendary Team RWBY alongside with their allies, that came along for in their journey."

One more page is flipped as it's shown with The White Fang with leader, Adam Taurus and many more on his side and standing from a few minutes off of where they were was Salem shown standing inside from the castle, watching this from afar.

"As The White Fang and Adam Taurus was ready for war. Salem was watching from afar. Then, from there the war finally collided."

Then, a new book would be picked up by someone as the person would open that book. As the book has pages that needs to be filled in. But, the background would be painted in as a new generation would be shown standing a front of Beacon Academy.

"A new generation has risen. The new generation will make sure the world is safe from any sort of danger...Or....Will it be safe at all, this time around?"

To the deep chest

The beginning opening begins with the light fading in as the sun appears to shine upon Beacon Academy and the camera slowly pans then quickly transitions to the group of past huntsmen and huntresses, with Beacon Academy's headmistress Ruby Rose, Blake Belladonna, Atlas's headmistress Weiss Schnee, Yang Xiao Long, Oscar Pine, Nora Valkyrie, Lie Ren, Jaune Arc, Qrow Branwen, Ryuuto Yoshida, Gintoki Sakata, and four people covered in the dark (not revealed yet), standing side by side.

Become a sound that can not be pulled out

The transition would show as the past generation had been faded out and the new generation standing there, as they have faded in and is standing, looking forward at the sun. The new generation showing Wraith Belladonna, Vanilla Frost, Roe Ket, Nashime "Kita" Yoshida, Tony Shimura, Dean Ambrose, Tyler Black, Roman Reigns, Kintoki Sakata, Kaiku & Sagura Shimura, Emilia Rose, & Jake Belladonna standing there.

Always believe and let it go

The wind blows around them as the camera would pan up above once more and show the sun with the new generation watching it.

Then, a leaf appears as the RWBY: After the Fall logo fades into the bright sun. 

After the rain, jumping over the puddle

This would transition from that to seeing Tony, Kaiku, and Sagura walking and Tony stepped over a puddle as his two sisters would notice the sound of the wind and leaves passing through them, The Shimura's are seen with smiles on their faces.

It would transition from them to seeing Dean Ambrose with his classmates from Shoka Shinjuku, Roman and Tyler as they were standing as Tyler and Dean were arguing with Roman watching the two. 

I looked into the world of reflection

Wind passes through them as well as Black and Ambrose would stop and notice the wind as Roman smiled as well as Black with Ambrose standing there with a blank expression. 

I was admired by the trembling sky

After that would see Wraith, Jake, Kintoki, Emilia, Roe, Vanilla, and Kita walking out to Beacon and the leaves passes through them as well. Vanilla stopped walking as she would notice the leaves as she stared at the sky.

If you notice something invisible

Roe and Kita would call Vanilla over, but Vanilla snapped herself out of being distracted by the blue sky and she smiled as she ran over to them.

Although, it seems to be crushed

The new generation rallies up their weapons as they are battle-ready. 

I turned around and it was heard. 

Tony, Dean, Roman, Tyler, Roe, Wraith, Vanilla, Kita, Jake, Kintoki, Emilia, Sagura, & Kaiku is seen with their weapons on the spot where they were originally standing. 

Chest tightening back, voice pushing back

Vanilla is seen with some doubt, but Kaiku and Roe placed their hand on Vanilla's shoulders giving her the strength to fight. 

To the deep chest

Everyone ran towards out to the forest, as the light fades in and it shows everyone's semblances at once. 

Become a sound that can not be pulled

Dean and Vanilla's semblance was not shown as the two froze up with them both, fading off into the darkness. But, Tony wakes her up from the darkness by having his aura goes in sync with hers and they show their combo move.

Fade away forever

Then, as Dean was watching everyone else. He looked down with an look of doubt with a demon showing in his own heart. As Dean would look himself in the mirror for a moment as he would soon see Cinder as his reflection. His eyes widened and screamed out as the reflection breaks.

Resound strongly

Cinder would watch Dean breaking before his eyes and having an evil smirk on her face. She even has people by her side. The important thing about this is that there is someone standing back to back with Cinder. The person's identity was covered in a silhouette. 

The flow has gone by now

Dean stood up as he would slowly walk himself over to the darkness.

Grasp it and do not let go

Tony Shimura, Roman Reigns, and Tyler Black stood behind Dean. Tony shout out at Dean, but Dean looked down and Tyler and Roman stood side by side with Dean as they places their hands on his back.

Because I am

Dean would smile as the darkness fades away as the opening ends with showing Ryuuto Yoshida and his whole class from five years ago in a class picture together.

As the day was about to end soon. The sun is about to set. 

After Ryuuto had been reunited with his older daughter, Vanilla Frost along with Vanilla's little sister and Ryuuto's youngest daughter, Kita. For the first time, the three was having a family dinner at the dinner table. 

Dean was outside on the upstairs patio, watching the sunset go down, as he had already ate.

"I wish...I could fit in with them...But, I don't wanna ruin their quality time as a family." He tries his hardest not to be all teary-eyed about how things turned out with his parents. 

"Can you excuse me, Kita, Vanilla? I'm going to check on Dean." Ryuuto says as he got up from the table and heads upstairs to check on Dean.

Vanilla nodded her head and so did Kita. 

"Okay!" They said at the same time. 

Vanilla and Kita covered their mouths at the same time, as well. Then, slowly uncovers it as they both blurt out at each other. "JINX! You owe me a drink!" They said at the same time, once again. The two sisters looked at each other, as they both laughed.

Ryuuto knocks on the door. "Dean! You got a minute?"

Dean would look behind him and says: "Sure. Come in, Ryuuto!" 

"What's wrong, kiddo? Is everything alright?" Ryuuto asked as he walks towards Dean.

Dean didn't look back at Ryuuto, all he could do was stare at the sunset. "Well..."

"Are you thinking about your family as a comparison to ours?" Ryuuto asked as he watches the sunset go down with him.

Dean's eyes widens and he was wondering on how did he know..."How did you know?"

"I saw you watching us hug, and reunite. I truly understand how you feel, Dean. You're not alone. I've always had my share of family issues as well. Guess what? I still do. As a father, and a caretaker of two. Besides the point, Dean. Don't ever compare things with family or friends with others, especially you with other people. Or...Your family with ours. Actually, I see you as family as well. Even if you're not a Yoshida. If you do show comparison to others with yourself. That creates doubt with you, and your future ahead. Understand that, Dean?" Yoshida gave Dean a smile, as he places a hand on his shoulder.

Dean thought about what Ryuuto had said to him. He nodded in agreement, giving him a smile in return. "Yeah. I understand, Old Man."

"This Old Man still got it. Haha...So, Dean...Are you gonna attend to classes for the reopen of Shoka Shinjuku?" Ryuuto asked.

Dean's eyes lit up, as he gave Ryuuto a grin. "Better believe I will!" 

"That's the attitude! Now, come. Join us, Dean!" Ryuuto smiles as he walks back inside from the patio and Dean joins Ryuuto, as the two rejoins Kita and Vanilla.

Next moment would see Tony, Sagura, and Kaiku in the living room with Mutsuko Crowe, their auntie and their mother's middle sister. 

"So, we're going to school starting tomorrow?! And it's at the reopening of Shoka Shinjuku!? THE LEGENDARY SHOKA SHINJUKU?!" Kaiku was in static of excitement and enthusiasm. She was super excited!!

"That's right. I can tell, you're excited. Aren't you?" Mutsuko was happy to see how excited Kaiku was about this.

Kaiku would run around the house, hyped up. "EXCITED!? I'M HYPED!"

Sagura covers her ears, as she uncovers her ears and nods her head. She is ready to go, so she can focus more on her writing skills and learn more ability on fighting experience. "More experience with writing for me and it helps me learn more fighting tactics."

Mutsuko would look at Tony. "What about you, Tony?" 

"Well, it's interesting. Why not?! More experience. And we'll be straight shotted at one of the huge schools. Especially yours, Auntie." Tony says with a slight smile. 

Mutsuko actually remembered something of what she needed to tell Tony, Sagura, and Kaiku.

"Oh, and...I forgot to tell you three. Make sure you tell Kaiku. You three are in charge of this house, as I head back to Vacuo to keep charge in Course Academy. There will be times for twice a week where I'll check on you guys. Is this okay with you?"

Tony nodded his head at Mutsuko. "Sure, Aunt Mutsu. We can take care of the house." 

"I'll go tell Kaiku about it." Sagura got up as she went upstairs to go and tell her. 

"Splendid! Thank you, my nephew!" Mutsuko got up and hugs Tony. "I'm sure your father and mother are proud of you three."

"I know they are, Auntie." Tony whispered.

Wraith, Jake, and Roe were taking turns to look at the poster. 

"I see. So, the legendary school is being brought back?" Jake looks at his mother, as he hands the poster back to her.

Blake nodded her head at Jake. "Exactly. And the teacher is actually an old friend of ours when I was in Team RWBY. Wraith, Jake? Remember the stories I told you about him and his brother?" 

"Of course. Shoyo, the original owner of Shoka Shinjuku. Ryuuto, the youngest brother of Shoyo, only by two years, right?...So, Ryuuto is the one running Shoka Shinjuku now?" Wraith says.

"Ah! You're talking about Shoyo Yoshida?! I heard so much historic things about him and his family. I even heard Shoyo died in the wars, long ago while his brother survived those wars." Roe recalling her history. She was hoping that she was right.

Blake nods once more. "That's about right. But, 'Just about'..." She remembered the memory of the day when the wars ended and died down completely, and seeing Gintoki standing with four more people, those people were Zaveid, the late Shinpachi Shimura, Ryuuto Yoshida, and someone who is rumored to be alive, Shinsuke Takasugi, that was with him and present at the scene of Shoyo's death. This memory was faded a bit but it's a memorable scene with Gintoki standing a front of the head of Shoyo's, looking forward at the sun.

"Is there something troubling you, mum?" Wraith asks as she was worried for her mother.

Blake shook off the memory and looks back at Wraith. "Oh, yes. I'm fine! So, do you three wanna join Shoka Shinjuku?"

"I mean, this is what I signed up for! To be a huntsmen people can depend on!" Jake says with a grin, as he clinches his fists.

Roe nodded and she was all in with this. "Yeah!"

"I'm in. Hopefully, nothing goes wrong with this, though." Wraith declares, although she is hoping nothing goes wrong.

Jake places a hand on his sister's shoulder. "We won't know for sure, Wraith. We'll just have to see!"

"Yeah. You're right." Wraith nodded.

Tyler Black and Roman Reigns were in the Black residence, as the two were discussing on if they want to give Shoka Shinjuku a chance. Black and Roman were sitting back to back.

"What do you think, Ro?" Tyler asked, as he shows Roman the poster. 

Roman looks behind him to see the poster and grabs it as he reads it. "Hmm...Seems interesting, maybe we could give this a shot. You think, Ty?"

Tyler nodded his head at Roman. "Sure, why not. If you're in. I'm in too. Brothers stick together. Right?" 

"Damn right." Roman grinned at Tyler. 

"Now, are you ready to get that ass beat in Jump Force?!" 

"You wish. But, really. It's you, Ro." Tyler grabbed the controller, as he threw Roman once.

Roman catches it as Tyler picks up his own controller. 

The two begins their game.

Emilia Rose ran back inside the Rose residence and she sees her mother, Ruby Rose and she shows her the poster that Ryuuto Yoshida and her younger daughter, Kita put all over town in Vale. 

"Mom! Can I please join Shoka Shinjuku? The school for all future huntsmen and huntresses...There is no pay at all! It's for free! Please, mother?!" Emilia begged as she really wants to join this school.

When Emilia mentioned Shoka Shinjuku, it reminded so much of Shoyo Yoshida and everything about the past to Ruby. Ruby would actually like for Emilia to learn everything that Shoyo's younger brother knows about. At the same time, she doesn't want Emilia to get involved with could happen in the future. After the details Gintoki gave to her a while back with what happened to the original Shoka Shinjuku and everything after. The wars, Fall of Beacon, and more. Then, the horrible moment with what happened to Shoyo at the end of the wars that has Gintoki heavily involved...She snapped herself out of it for a moment. This isn't the past anymore...This is the future's time now. The New Generation...

Ruby would respond to this. "Alright, Em. Go ahead." 

Emilia's eyes lit up as she hugs her mother. "Thank you!"

"Hey, no problem." Ruby smiled at her daughter.

She thought in her mind. "You better take good care of her, Ryuuto..."

"I'm home, Dad!" Kintoki just returned from taking a little walk, as he walks up into the living room. He sees his father reading the newspaper. "Where's Mom?"

"She had to deal with a student in Beacon, last minute." Gintoki answered.

"Ah, okay." Kintoki nodded his head at his father as he sat down on the living room chair. "So, dad. Did you hear the news about Shoka Shinjuku starting school tomorrow?"

These were news to Gintoki. "So...Shoka Shinjuku is reviving, huh?" He asked, as he was reading the newspaper, and puts it down to look at his son, Kintoki.

Kintoki nodded slowly as he shows his father the poster that says as Gintoki grabs the poster and reads it.  "Shoka Shinjuku: School for Reading and Huntsmen, and Huntress Training. School begins in session starting tomorrow."

"I see. You wanna go there for school, Kin?" Gintoki asked.

"Of course. Even though, the reading is probably something I don't often care about. I want to be huntsman. Like you, and be even better! Surpass you!" Kintoki declared to his father. 

The White Yaksha was surprised about that claim. Kin is just like him when he was younger. He grinned. "Show me, then Kin. I will talk with your mother about this when she gets home. Is that fine?"

"Alright!" The golden-haired boy says with excitement.

Gintoki thinks in his mind and remembers the old days when Shoka Shinjuku was up and running, but with Ryuuto's brother. 

"I see, Ryuuto. Trying to follow your brother's footsteps. Honestly...That...is nostalgic to me...Then, everything started to crash down from there...Let's see how things go from here, Ryuuto. Teach these kids good and well." He thought in his mind.

Breaking through the silence

A huge lighting effect fades in and then fades out as the setting sees darkness and sees Vanilla Frost standing in the dark and she reaches her hand out forward. 

We met in an inevitable encounter

The blacked out scene fades out as it would show Nashime "Kita" Yoshida and father, Ryuuto Yoshid standing in the light and she does the same thing as Vanilla. She and Ryuuto tries to reach out to Vanilla.

For our both sakes

Then, The Shield, in order left to right shows Dean Ambrose, Tyler Black, and Roman Reigns close to looking like silhouettes, but light is dimmed down on their faces. The three were standing side by side together, walking towards the light where Kita is standing at. 

In your mournful eyes

Vanilla looks down as Cinder Fall walks from behind and with a evil grin, she wrapped her arm around Vanilla's neck. Vanilla tries to resist Cinder by putting her hand up reaching back out to everyone else. Vanilla's eyes slowly grows dull as she was being kept in the darkness.

I see a reflections of regrets

Wraith Belladonna and Roe Ket is seen walking with their backs turned in a different direction, through a reflecting-like mirror.

Enveloped in sorrow, you've blossomed beautifully

Flowers suddenly appears and Vanilla's eyes would light up as she sees the flowers blossom around her as she raises her hand back up to finally reach out.

The flower that fuses into someone's life

Visuals appears with a silhouette of a person appears and that appears to be Tony Shimura of The Shield (without his Shield attire, but his regular look), walking towards the darkness where Vanilla was. Then, as Vanilla was in the dark with sudden flowers growing around her. Time reverses with the flowers reverting and slowly fading away. 

Hey, do you see it?

A up-close look of Vanilla is shown with her slowly turning away as she watches the flowers fading away, slowly.

I'm sure you do.

Back and forth motions happens with Vanilla slowly putting her hand down and slowly frowning as well and Tony still walking around, looking left to right as fellow and former schoolmates, Roe, Jake, Wraith, Kintoki, as well as his sisters, Kaiku and Sagura

Let's paint over all the mistakes we've made

A new transition was made with Vanilla seeing herself watching the dark sky and the moon, with extra beautiful visual and view at sight. Then, it was shown with her facing the sky with her back turned. Trying not to walk away from it.

A new start line will always be there if we want to start over. 

The darkness visuals returns as Cinder attempts to drag Vanilla away deeper into the darkness. Tony Shimura alongside with everyone else walking towards for Vanilla's direction. They were close-up's for Roe, Wraith, and Tony.

Let's make our future different from the past

Visuals changes once more as snow would soon appear and it's revolving around Vanilla as she still had her hand out and she would soon see the past with everyone else she's ever been with mostly The Shield, best friend Roe, and sister and father, Kita and Yoshida. 

Our small hope will paint a new start line

Then, Vanilla sees a dream she saw once with her holding hands with Tony, her one and only crush. She wishes to be with him. The dream fades away as well as it was raining for a quick second and it stops as it was still darkness. She would soon quit putting her hand out there as Kita yelled out for her and Cinder was very close to pulling her into darkness. 

I never say goodbye

Then, Vanilla would slowly fade away into the darkness with a smile. Tony would run in and grabs for Vanilla's hand, pulling her away from Cinder and got Vanilla out in time as they re-enter the light side as Tony held Kita back at the same time, before Cinder reaches for either of them. As everyone else made it out of the darkness. 

That's how I always am

Tony let's go of Vanilla's hand as he gave her a smile and Vanilla had been unsure towards him. The light rises even more, as Vanilla reaches for Tony's hand and Tony would reach out for hers. The visuals would change as it fades in and out with Tony's smile and Vanilla's smile as their hands intertwining and ends with both of them gone.

"Well, that was Episode 4. Dean gave the wrong damn title for this episode. Very misleading, Deano!" Roe says as she teased him.

Dean shouts out. "Oh come on! I was nervous, last week!"

"Anyways...My name is Roe Ket! I hope you guys enjoyed Episode 4! It was actually titled as Decision Time! I'm seriously loving this and how the story is going! So many discoveries. Soooo close to knowing the full truth to what really went down, twenty years ago! Next episode, Episode 5, The First Day of School! Now, that's how you do it! The real title!" Roe grinned. "See you guys there! Here's the preview!"

"That's not fair, Roe..." Dean sighed.

Preview: Episode 5 - First Day of School!

Tony was surprised of how many people have shown up. Kaiku was super excited as she jumped up and down. Sagura watched how excited Kaiku was.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, GUYS! WE ARE IN SCHOOL! FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!" Kaiku was super hyped.

Tony laughed at Kaiku's hyped side come out at a good time like this. "It's amazing, very much so!"

"I am excited. At least, I get to make some new friends here." Sagura smiled at Tony.

Tony returned the smile. "I'm happy you're excited, Sagura!"

Roe would come up from behind and jumps up on Tony's back. "What's up T?"

"Roe!" Tony was surprised as he sees Jake and Wraith and even was more surprised.

"Tony. Long time, no see." Jake puts his fist up for a fist bump.

Tony grins at Jake as he fist bumps him. "Yeah, Jake. Been too long." 

"You both were actually five when you two met. How could you seriously remember that is beyond me?" Wraith asks. 

Jake shrugged, as Tony rubs his head nervously. 

"I mean...We both do have a good memory." Tony and Jake says at the same time.

Sagura, Kaiku, and Roe laughed at Tony and Jake.

Gintoki visiting Shoyo's grave, as a certain someone also out of nowhere visits as well. 

"Shinsuke..." Gintoki says as he didn't look back to see Shinsuke standing behind him.

Shinsuke Takasugi would attempt to take his sword out but Zaveid comes up from the side.

"I wouldn't do that if I was you, Takasugi..." Zaveid says in the upmost seriousness. He wasn't playing around. The way he spoke to Shinsuke was in a very serious and dark tone.

Shinsuke grinned evilly as he takes his hand off the sword holster. "Zaveid...Gintoki..."
